More bad news for Sony fans!

With the recent news that DMC4 is 360 bound, the following statement will have Sony fanboys crying themselves to sleep

Dead Rising and Lost Planet remains Xbox 360 Console Exclusive

Via a bulletin board post, a member of Capcom has confirmed that there are NO plans to bring Dead Rising and Lost Planet to the Wii or PS3 formats, meaning it will remain an Xbox 360 exclusive. This confirmation comes following the news that a number of Capcom titles are set to go multi-platform.

The answer is Dead Rising and Lost Planet are not slated to appear on Wii or PS3 as far as current plans go. The reasons for this are quite convoluted and I'm bound by NDAs on these matters so I can't divulge why this is the situation.

Sony PS3 hit by £10m in cancellations

Ouch! The recent UK launch of the PS3 has been over-shadowed by news that has been cancellations of worth more than £10 MILLION from buyers at a business and consumer level.

The long-awaited UK launch of Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) games console has been marred by the cancellation of more than £10m worth of orders from retailers and consumers.

Retail industry sources claim the electronics giant has had as many as 20,000 pre-orders of the £425 console cancelled in the run-up to its delayed launch last Friday.

There have been none of the stock shortages typical of earlier console launches and the majority of the cancelled pre-orders are believed to have come from speculators hoping to sell the units on eBay for a profit.

For anyone that has played Crackdown, you will no doubt be like myself and find that collecting the Agility Orbs is a very addictive part of the game! I'm currently on 460 out of 500!!
